Superette Flagship Cannabis Shop

When Superette set out to launch their cannabis retail stores, they were looking to deliver something different. With many brands offering sleek but sterile environments — or legacy cannabis stores adorned with marijuana leaves — Superette’s leadership team envisioned a faux-bodega-corner-store boutique — a ‘superette’ in French — to bring a bright, accessible and playful experience to customers.

Our team worked closely with Superette to develop the core experience elements in store — notably the ordering menus stylized as cigarette vending machines, faux-bunker cooler display case and centrepiece flower wall & bud pod experience. We also helped round out the store with supporting elements such as the queue line and wall merchandising systems.

A large scope with a tight timeline, I led the team to develop the above-mentioned elements and jumped in to design and engineer the bud pod experience.
